Be confident with flavours, seasoning and putting dishes together
Be able to adapt and experiment with seasonal ingredients together with being skilled in the preparing and cooking of them
Be able to lead the kitchen when the head chef is not there and continue to follow the high standards and consistency
Enjoy menu development and inputting ideas into the menu creation.
Demonstrate efficient and hygienic working practices
Understand how to work productively in a fast paced kitchen environment
Proactive and intuitive nature
Be willing to work hard in a small team and contribute to the decision making and growth of the business
Minimum 1 year commercial kitchen experience

Barista Training and hospitality experience (minimum 1 year) and ideally in an independent business
Enjoy delivering excellent customer service, interacting with customers and having a relaxed conversational manner
Work flexibly across all aspects of the deli, with an interest in food and learning about seasonal and sustainable produce
Proactive and intuitive nature, be willing to work hard in a small team and contribute to the decision making and growth of the business
Be passionate about our environment, interested in how we as a business can continually reduce our waste; but also engage in conversations with customers about sustainable topics of interest
